ABOUT ROYST & ARAN

Karan the designer of Royst & Aran spent many years on the stage wearing beautiful costume and intricate head pieces whilst studying at The Royal Ballet School. She has a keen eye for elegant, striking design and all things sparkly. Inspiration for her exclusive and exquisite collections is taken from Vintage Hollywood glamour and the graceful and sophisticated head dresses worn in ballet.

The leading name in Royst & Aran belongs to Karan's late ginger cat Royston. He used to sit intently for hours watching as pieces were created and designed and he would ‘nick’ off with all the beads, wire and diamantes. Royston is the only one who has first-hand knowledge of how the vintage collection is made. He would have made the vintage chic himself if his paws had; had enough dexterity!
